How much do listings cost?

Prices range from $149 to $199 USD. Jobs packages are subscription-based and renew every 30 days. You will be able to edit your listing or cancel your subscription at any time. Optional extras are also available for increased job exposure. Pricing can be found here.

What's the difference between full-time, contract, and freelance?

These three terms are used loosely throughout the employment world and can mean different things to different people. But in the context of Authentic Jobs, we've defined the following for each of these job types. Full-time is a salaried position, usually on-site and long-term, and typically 40 hours per week. Part-time is a temporary or temp-to-perm position, and the contractor usually works on-site some or all of the time. Freelance is outsourced work, usually a short-term commitment, and work can often be done from anywhere.

How long will my listing be online?

Your job listing will be visible for 30 days and automatically renew until you cancel your subscription. Unless deleted, your jobs will remain in your dashboard and can be relisted any time with a new subscription.

How to I edit my listing?

You should have received a confirmation email after posting your listing. This email includes a link to your account dashboard where you'll find all of your job listings. If you've lost this email, or if spam filters ate it up (not uncommon), send us a note and we'll resend your link.

Hi. I need an invoice.

Okay, that wasn't a question, but we'll still answer it. The email you receive after posting your listing doubles as an invoice. If that's not sufficient, contact us and we'll manually craft one for you. Be sure to include any special instructions, such as department code, VAT, etc.

What kind of response to my listing should I expect?

We place emphasis on quality of applicants, not quantity. Some employers receive many applicants, while others receive only a few. To an extent, you can affect the kind of response you receive by attracting applicants with your listing text. Do you offer excellent benefits? Do you work with impressive clients? Talk about these kinds of things in your listing.

Where are the candidates located?

About 65% of the site's traffic comes from job seekers in the U.S. The rest comes from more than 100 countries, with the UK, Canada, and India in the second, third, and fourth positions. The first person ever hired through the site was for a company in London. We've had companies list (and hire) for positions as far away as Australia.

Do you offer a discount for educational institutions and non-profits?

Absolutely! We're very friendly to educational institutions and non-profits. Please contact us, tell us a little about your organization, and we'll craft a discount just for you (usually 25% off the listed prices).

Why do you charge a lot more than craigslist?

I know, right? Well, Authentic Jobs doesn't compete with high-volume sites like Monster.com and craigslist. We offer a targeted approach with a targeted audience. Quality over quantity. Further, with our 100% satisfaction guarantee, we could very well cost $1,000 more than craigslist, and yet if your listing doesn't perform to your satisfaction, it doesn't cost you anything in the end.

How do I request a refund?

Contact us and ask for a full refund within 30 days after the listing goes live. We'll refund your payment by credit card. That's it.

I can't login.

You can use either your username or your email address to log in. If you've forgotten both, get in touch and we'll tell you what your username is. Your password, on the other hand, is totally encrypted even to our eyes, so we can't tell you what that is. Reset your password, and if you're still stuck after that, get in touch.
