This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software developer to join our Melbourne based team.


  • Assist in gathering Technical requirements and propose solutions based on requirements
  • Assist in creating Technical documents
  • Work with Technology and business groups to define Project specifications and “outside the box” Solutions if needed
  • Implement extensions for e-commerce platforms – Magento, Woo commerce
  • Create well designed, efficient code in PHP, Laravel, Node JS
  • Assist in the technical verification of design and architecture
  • Perform code reviews
  • Have the capacity to multi- task a wide range of projects
  • Have the ability to quickly learn new technologies.


  • 5 – 7 years commercial experience
  • Experience in developing and consuming web services (SOAP / REST)
  • Hands-on programming and debugging skills on PHP, NodeJS, .NET, AJAX, JavaScript
  • Good working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience with custom Developments and Maintenance in Magento, WordPress and other CMS frameworks like Laravel etc.
  • Experience with Performance analysis & tuning, Benchmarking/load testing, Security
  • Experience maintaining highly available web architectures
  • Work with Developers to help them solve technical difficulties or ascertain the best design approach when needed
  • Experience in front-end JavaScript frameworks
  • Cross browser CSS front-end development experience
  • At least basic to intermediate experience utilising AWS services
  • Possess SSH/Shell experience
  • Experience using source code control systems – Git / Bitbucket
  • Previously worked in an agile environment
  • Team player and ability to effectively collaborate
  • Excellent and pro-active approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical capability, with close attention to detail
