Reitdesign, an award-winning strategic marketing and design studio, is currently seeking a full time Senior Designer to join our creative team. We are a diverse & collaborative group of designers, developers, writers, strategist, researchers & UX designers who deliver creative solutions to a wide range of industries from Fortune 500 companies to local not for profits. Our diverse range of projects include:  branding, integrated marketing programs, digital solutions, packaging, environmental and event design, and social media programs.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced, creative, and self-motivated candidate who’s background demonstrates they are well-organized, detail oriented, a strong communicator (verbal & written), deadline driven and has overseen internal & external team members. The Senior Designer will develop, oversee & produce design projects (digital and print) from initial concept to delivery to meet our client’s requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Develop, manage & execute the creative project from initial concept/solution to completion
•    Manage, review & engage with team members (junior designers, writers, developers, freelancers, creative & production partners) to ensure high quality at every stage of the creative process while adhering to clients requirements, established deadlines, and budget
•    Work collaboratively & partner with account management team to discuss the design objectives, project execution & ways to enhance our client relations
•    Think conceptually & creatively to develop new, out of the box design solutions based on client’s objectives
•    Maintain brand consistency
•    Strong communication skills—inclusive of interfacing with clients and the ability to present ideas effectively— written and verbally
•    Strong listening skills to understand client requirements and to be able to translate them into design objectives
•    Assisting with reitdesign’s internship program which includes scouting, interviewing, managing, and mentoring interns
•    Assist with studio’s internal marketing that includes email marketing, digital campaigns and presentation decks
•    Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, tools and techniques

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+  years creative experience
• 2  years experience leading a creative team
•  Work collaboratively with creative director, project manager and designers
•  Strong conceptual thinking — both visual and interactive
• Strong knowledge of typography, color theory, branding, UX and information design
•  Excellent copywriting skills
•  Strong communication skills — ability to interface with clients as well as work with teams internally
•  Advanced skills in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word and PPT
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Wordpress
• Social media insights
