Experience & Ability

  • Experienced CMS developer who’s ready to provide thoughtful solutions to complex challenges. You’re experienced with php-based Content Management Systems and ideally have exposure to Craft CMS or ExpressionEngine.
  • Familiar with developing custom add-ons for your CMS of choice. You can bend the CMS to your will, and you know how to do so responsibly.
  • Highly skilled at designing, querying, and optimizing relational databases. When the database starts to crawl, you know where to look and how to find solutions.
  • Excited about contributing thoughtfully to the architecture and development of content managed sites with complex data models and hundreds and thousands of pages.
  • Experienced with source control and Git in a team environment. Merge conflicts don’t scare you, and you’re as comfortable with git from the command line as you are from the GUI.
  • Experienced in an agency environment where people, budgets, and results matter.
  • You’re confident in providing estimates and know how to stay on-schedule and on-budget.

  • You’re local to Richmond, VA or remote and willing to occasionally travel for on-site visits and team activities.
