– Accepting applications

Zwift is a digital destination for fitness enthusiasts that’s redefining indoor exercise. We took the boring indoor routine and game-ified it, by developing an at-home training experience that connects cyclists and runners around the world. We’re on a mission to make more people, more active, more often.

Launched from the sunny beaches of Long Beach, CA with offices in NYC, London, and Rio de Janeiro, the Zwift community is active in 195 countries (yup - more countries than the United Nations) and growing. We’re endlessly positive, relentlessly inventive, and always looking to improve… wanna join?

Who we are seeking

Zwift is looking for an experienced and creative UX Designer with app and web design experience to join our Game Design team.  In this role, you’ll be defining and designing the Zwift website experience that will compliment the game; helping Zwifters make sense of their data, and growing the Zwift community. You will collaborate with fellow UX Designers, Game Designers, and Web Developers to tackle challenges unique to data visualization and cross platform experiences. You’ll have an organized approach to bringing polished designs to life, efficiently and thoughtfully. If you’ve got a penchant for running, cycling, triathlons, or other forms of fitness, that’s a huge plus!

What you’ll do

  • Design and create wireframes, workflows, prototypes, sketches and high-fidelity mockups
  • Define what the complimentary web experience will solve for our Zwifters
  • Collaborate with UX and Game Designers to strategize and define key product or feature specifications
  • Help define and refine the Zwift design system while keeping our goals and our users’ goals in mind
  • Act as a Zwifter advocate to ensure the highest level of usability in everything you create

What you’ll bring

  • Outstanding portfolio of app and/or website design examples you’ve loved creating, demonstrating your strong design skills
  • 4-6 years of UX Design experience working on apps and responsive websites
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design, responsive web design, and data visualization
  • Thorough grasp of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, especially when it comes to navigation and data visualization
  • Expert knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator, and experience with prototyping tools such as Invision
  • Understand of modern HTML and CSS capabilities and limitations
  • Comfortable both providing and receiving objective feedback, and eager to problem solve collaboratively
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and raise questions when ambiguity arises
  • Enthusiasm in joining a fun, energetic team with a variety of personalities

Bonus Level

  • Interested in cycling, running, triathlons, or other fitness activities (regular use of Zwift is a must to ensure you’re creating the best experience possible for our Zwifters)
