Overview

To support communications and marketing initiatives by implementing and administering systems that align business strategy and deliver on objectives; to be actively engaged in managing projects that enhance Trustmark’s position in the market; to focus on the strategy, design, execution, and operation of the business’s lead management/marketing automation processes; to drive multi-touch/multi-channel marketing defined by buyer journey, location, etc., in order to turn client and prospect responses into leads for customer-facing employees;  to track analytics for a clearer understanding of the customer journey; to leverage existing or new systems for delivering value; and to develop the connection between digital and purchased services.

 

Responsibilities

 

Project Management

  • Manage all phases of various project delivery lifecycles internally as well as from vendor comparison through launch by implementing key communications & marketing systems to generate additional revenue, attract and retain customers, streamline internal processes, and drive increased operational success and efficiency across communications & marketing functions
  • Work with business units and end users to define processes and refine experiences
  • Contract management
  • Third-party vendor management
  • Budgeting

Website Management

  • Manage and optimize Trustmark’s website, ensuring appropriate branding, messaging, and functionality
  • Implement new features (example – chat), manage content, and serve as the liaison with Trustmark’s web vendor for programming changes
  • Monitor SEO
  • Create landing pages
  • Distribute form submissions to Trustmark’s website and microsites for follow-up to officers
  • Keep the locator current
  • Make departmental changes as requested
  • Update the site during crisis communications
  • Review analytics and reporting to drive actionable, data-driven recommendations and insights
  • Optimize conversions of web traffic, landing pages, lead content generation, and calls-to-action

Systems and Technology

  • onMARK Marketing Asset Management System
  • Assess out-of-the-box communications & marketing technology solutions for functionality and customize as needed
  • Test system updates and changes to ensure that business use cases and requirements are met
  • Marketing Automation
    • Enable digital marketing campaigns, ensure efficient execution, leverage modern digital inbound and outbound tools, and analyze campaign effectiveness
    • Create and maintain workflow design; lead management, nurturing, and acquisition; demand generation; and predictive marketing to help cohesively deliver a consistent customer journey
    • Execute well-targeted automated campaigns utilizing persona-based marketing, targeting, and segmentation in order to shape strategic vision
    • Aid in driving lead generation efforts within digital channels including outbound marketing
    • Analyze campaign data for results and future insight
    • Integrate Marketing Automation with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and data warehouse
    • Manage Trustmark’s eMail marketing system
    • Implement mobile marketing/engagement – text, location-based, etc.

Research

  • Emerging and industry trends in order to remain competitive, gather innovative ideas, and aid in departmental decision-making (marketing cloud capabilities, automation processes, lead grading/scoring, customer lifecycle development, cryptocurrency, best practices, etc.)
  • Vendor comparison, selection, and implementation

 

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Trustmark’s corporate structure and culture
  • Strong comprehension of regulatory processes, policies, and procedures. 
  • Well-versed in the use of technology to solve business problems
  • Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and best practices on topics such as personalization, cross-channel marketing, mobile, and data-driven optimization of experiences;
  • Solid understanding of communications and marketing technology platforms
  • Experience collaborating with diverse sets of business units, managing software vendors, and using Content and Marketing Asset Management Systems
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coherently with all levels of associates
  • Proven record of project management

  • Master degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in a related field
