Basic Function & Responsibilities:

Responsible for producing websites and other online products necessary to achieve the marketing and communications goals of the university.  This position works as a member of a development team and must be comfortable working within a number of roles across the spectrum of web development. This position also requires applicants to be comfortable communicating within a team and outside of the team.

 

Essential Functions (top five critical functions):

·         Produce websites and other online products using standard components and patterns.

·         Code experience: HTML, CSS (Sass), JavaScript, others.

·         Website maintenance

·         Content Management System maintenance – plugins, modules and workflows in WordPress/Drupal.

·         End-user training and support

Limited supervision is received.

 

Supervision Exercised:

N/A

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor degree preferred. Must possess initiative and be highly motivated. Must have strong work ethic as well as skilled written communication.

Minimum of two years of experience in a related field is preferred.

Drupal and/or WordPress CMS

Wireframing

Good time management skills
