Associate Creative Director / Content Strategist

If so, Warehouse Twenty One might be the place for you. We are looking for an Associate Creative Director to develop and oversee projects at their earliest stages to cast vision, form concepts and pilot communication philosophies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • 5+ years of agency experience
  • A strong portfolio exhibiting professional level skills and creativity
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Strong literary and organizational skills using office applications such as Google and/or Microsoft
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Experience working in WYSIWYG editors such as WordPress and Mailchimp

Bonus

  • Expert level knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite from InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator to After Effects, Premier Pro, Audition, and Media Encoder

Essential Duties

Creative Direction

  • Work alongside client and consumer strategy departments to vision and map out client plans
  • Engage with clients to gain a clear understanding of their goals and objectives
  • Be a part of “big idea” development meetings
  • Lead creative brainstorm meetings
  • Oversee the creative concepting phase of projects
  • Oversee the creative development with a high level of creative aesthetic, versatility, and originality
  • Pitch / present creative concepts and assets to clients with the client teams
  • Oversee the Senior Art Director in working with the design team to create concepts, comps, layouts and final art
  • Create storyboards, scripts and shotlists

Content Strategy

  • Research and gain an understanding of client products and services
  • Provide content strategy, wireframe and architecture for web, print, and other marketing needs
  • Generate unique ideas and original content in-line with strategic and creative direction
  • Facilitate the messaging and content-development process

Vendor & Freelance Management and Mixed Media

  • Identify potential vendors, freelancers and partners establishing relationships and tracking their performance for future engagements
  • Manage the workflow and quality of freelancers and vendors
  • Works with CSO and Creative Manager to resource projects
  • Oversee Creative Manager in developing production briefs
  • Oversee Creative Manager in negotiating contracts with outsourced partners
  • Provide direction and ensure deliverables and timelines are met according to the production brief and process standards.
  • Attend photo and video shoots and provide creative direction ensuring creative quality objectives of product are met
  • Oversee post production and provide feedback and assets where necessary

Industry Research

  • Stay abreast of the latest creative and advertising trends
  • Continually research strategies and technologies used in advertising practices
  • Understand and recognize the intended audience and best creative strategies for reaching the audience
  • Be aware of what competitors are doing in order to create innovative and new designs and concepts

Process Management

  • Assist the Creative Director in identifying possible process improvements and help facilitate the implementation and uphold solutions are followed with the creative team
  • Work with the Creative Director in defining, training and ensuring the creative team follows consistent processes
  • Work with Project Manager team to cost projects
  • Assist the Creative Director in decision-making (big ideas, creative concepts, etc.) across projects
  • Ensure company organization requirements are met from cleanliness of files, file naming, folder organization and transfer of assets to client when necessary
