Marketers use our web-based SaaS platform to create and publish interactive content experiences: quizzes, assessments, calculators, configurators, solution builders, interactive white papers, interactive infographics, and more! We want to make their job as easy and fun as possible. But behind the scenes, it’s a complex endeavour. That’s why we’re reimagining the UX of our platform — to make it as simple as possible for anyone to create interactive content. That’s where you come in. If you’re up to the challenge of turning a complex system into an easy to use interface, read on!
You’ll be a core contributor to all parts of our lean and agile design process. For example, you will be responsible for creating interactive prototypes, using tools like Sketch and invision. Using your prototypes, you’ll help to conduct usability tests. Part of your job will be to build and maintain style guides and UI patterns (based off a front-end framework like Bootstrap) to enable development of our product. Finally, and importantly, you’ll be up to the challenge of distilling complex problems into usable interfaces.
We work cross-functionally, and use processes like design sprints and design studios to generate ideas and design direction. Bonus points if you know what those are!
In addition to the above, you have the following:
- A strong portfolio featuring real world examples of interaction design work (the more we can click around, the better)
- Solid UI design skills
- Experience writing HTML and CSS (cutting edge CSS skills a bonus)
- Comfort with an agile & iterative design process
- Excellent communication skills—you’ll need to communicate clearly and effectively on a cross-functional team
- You’re a great writer
- You’ve launched your own product or have a side project that you’re proud of
